We are delighted to announce that Lynne Fraser, a member of Highland Division SVLGA, is our new Vice Captain, bringing a wealth of experience to the post.

A past Captain of Northern Counties LGA, Lynne was fully committed to developing the golfing abilities of both junior and experienced golfers.
A long term member of Fortrose and Rosemarie golf club where she has been club champion on 14 occasions.
Lynne has also represented Highland Vets in their inter-divisional match against Northern Vets.

A qualified Development Officer and Schools Co-ordinator with many years of experience where she has honed both leadership and interpersonal skills, ideal assets for her role as Vice Captain.

We are delighted to welcome her to our Committee.

Scottish Golf have today announced the squad selections for the upcoming European Senior Men and Women’s Team Championships, taking place from 30 August to 3 September.

Check out the Ladies Team, bearing a strong resemblance to the SVLGA Team for Moor Park.

It is with much regret that I share news of the death of Past President, Jean Thomas.
Jean was SVLGA President from 2010-2012, during which time Scotland hosted the Jamboree at the Hirsel Golf Club, Coldstream, not far from Jean's home town of Kelso.
Our sympathies go to Jean's husband and family.
